Prices can sometimes change over time, especially in an ongoing recurring order.
Your service provider may propose a new hourly rate, but the price cannot change automatically or without your agreement.
💬 How will I be notified?
If your service provider would like to change their hourly rate, you’ll receive a message through the Helpling Chat.
The message will show the proposed price change and give you the option to accept or reject it.
✅ What happens if I accept?
If you accept the proposed rate, the new hourly price will apply to your recurring order. Review the information carefully before confirming the change.
❌ What happens if I reject it?
If you do not agree to the proposed increase, the existing price remains unchanged. However, your service provider may decide that they no longer wish to continue the recurring order at the previous rate and may cancel the arrangement.
🕒 When can the price be changed?
A service provider can propose a new hourly rate at any time during an ongoing recurring order.
The price does not change automatically. Your confirmation is always required before the new rate can take effect.
💡 Good to know
Your service provider is self-employed and sets their own hourly rate.
Helpling facilitates the price-change request through the Chat, but the decision belongs to you and your service provider:
The provider proposes the new rate.
You accept or reject it.
If you reject it, the previously agreed price remains in place unless the provider ends the recurring order.
