If your regular service provider becomes unavailable, what happens next depends on whether they are ill, taking a holiday, or ending their work with you. Here’s what to expect in each situation.
🤒 If your service provider is ill
If your service provider is unable to attend because they are ill, a replacement is not arranged automatically.
You can contact our Support team if you would like help finding another available service provider.
🏖️ If your service provider is on holiday
If your service provider plans to take time off, you’ll receive an email informing you about their absence.
You can then decide whether you would like:
Helpling Support to help you find another service provider; or
to look for and book another service provider yourself.
👋 If your service provider stops working
If your service provider ends the recurring arrangement, Helpling will automatically begin requesting another available provider.
You’ll be informed through the Helpling app and by email.
🔍 What if no replacement is available?
Finding another service provider depends on availability in your area.
If your request is unsuccessful, you can try:
Choosing another date or time
Adjusting your preferred price range
Selecting a different available provider
Contacting our Support team for assistance
💡 Good to know
The replacement process differs depending on why your service provider is unavailable:
Illness: Help is available, but the search does not begin automatically.
Holiday: You decide whether to search yourself or ask Support for help.
Stops working: Another provider is requested automatically, and you are notified through the app and by email.
